We run a Recall and Reminder system for both routine and significant health issues. Reminders are sent out for annual checkups, including 75+ Annual Health Assessments (Bulk Billed), Care Plans (Bulk Billed) and pap smears. Patients are recalled as requested by their doctor, on receipt of the results of blood tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, etc.
Some positive aspects of our Recall and Reminder system include continuity of care, an increase in patient involvement in their health, better management of chronic conditions, leading to reduced acute care and increased preventive care, and better quality of life for patients.
We attempt to contact the patient, either by telephone or letter and our reception staff will endeavour to update your contact details each time you visit.

Pathology
In conjunction with Clinipath we are able to offer this service at our Practice. To minimise wait times and improve patient convenience we recommend that you book a time for your test. We endeavour to accommodate you without booking however you may be required to wait. Where possible fasting tests are scheduled between 8:00am and 9:00am.

Family Medicine

The clinic offers patients reliable quaily treatment and follow up, a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for skin cancers including cryotheraphy, biopsies, surgical excision, skin flap repairs, curettage and diathermy.

Mental healthcare may include but is not limited to medication management, regular counselling, referral to allied health providers as well as preparation and ongoing management of GP mental healthcare plans.
Immunisations
Immunisation protects against a range of preventable diseases and infections. Childhood immunisations, catch up immunisations, travel immunisations and occupational health immunisations are amongst the range of immunisations provided.
Travel Medicine
It is important to be aware of the latest WHO (World Health Organisation) recommendations for travel to any part of the world. Travel medicine has a focus on health promotion and may include travel vaccinations, up to date travel information, malaria prevention, education and awareness of the local culture or region to help prevent accidents and injuries.
Sports Medicine
Both amateur and professional athletes may require treatment by a doctor specialising in sports medicine in order to optimise performance. Chronic Disease and GP Managed Care Plans

A comprehensive annual health check is recommended for all people aged over 75 to identify any health issues and optimise quality of life. Areas assessed may include, but are not limited to, lifestyle, mobility, medication, nutrition, exercise, safety in the home, care arrangements and support networks.
Occupational Medicine and WorkCover Consultations
Some occupations have increased risk of injury or illness, and doctors specialising in occupational medicine aim to ensure that high standards of health and safety at work are maintained. Occupational medicine may include, but is not limited to, treatment, management and prevention of injuries, return to work planning, pre-employment medicals and WorkCover consultations.

A comprehensive health assessment is offered to individuals in this age range. The assessment is to identify any health/risk factors that maybe preventing the patient from leading and maintaining a healthy life. This is done by accessing current health, lifestyle factors and family history.
