DOCTORS

Dr John Davies

Dr Davies (MB ChB MRCS LRCP FACRRM DObst RCOG D(Advanced) RANZCOG) has been a GP in Manjimup for 44 years.  He started MMC in 1979, moving it to the current, purpose-built premises in August, 1985.  Known throughout the district, Dr Davies has many regular patients.  Dr Davies is also an obstetrician and looks after most of the town’s “ladies in waiting”.   He performs both minor and major surgical procedures, is our local anaesthetist, visits patients at Moonya Aged Care facility and is often on duty at Warren District Hospital.

Dr Alison Turner

Dr Turner (MBBS FRACGP) has been practicing in the Shire for over 25 years.  Dr Turner is our “travelling” physician.  Not only does she see patients here in Manjimup but also holds Manjimup Medical Centre clinics in Pemberton and Northcliffe and visits patients at Moonya Lodge. 

Dr Carol Angeloni

Dr Angeloni (MBBS) has been in practice at MMC for over 30 years.  She works part-time and only sees her regulars.  

Dr Lillian Daniels

Dr Lillian Daniels (PhD, MBBS, FRACGP) joined our team in March 2016.  She enjoys all facets of General Practice and rural medicine including acute and geriatric medicine, oncology, paediatrics, neurology and cardiovascular medicine.  Dr Daniels visits patients at Moonya Lodge, manages inpatients  at the hospital and works shifts at the Emergency Department. 

Dr Casper Murove (MBChB, MMed MFamMed, FACRRM)  joined us at the end of May 2021.  Dr Casper is an Obstetrician, works in the Emergency Department and visits patients at Moonya.  He enjoys all facets of General Practice and rural medicine.

PRACTICE NURSES

We have 4 lovely nurses who share a very busy role at MMC. 

Cyndy, Rhonda, Gemma and Rebecca have a wealth of experience and assist our medical staff in ensuring that our patients receive the best care possible through the management of Care Plans.  Rhonda, Cyndy, Gemma and Rebecca also assist our doctors in our Treatment Room with clinical procedures, dressings, ECGs and more. 

ADMINISTRATION TEAM

Practice Manager

 

Tara Harson joined the team in January 2024. 

Her main functions are in facilitating, documenting, liaising, planning, coordinating, processing and implementing – ensuring all organisational aspects within the practice run as smoothly and effectively as possible for staff and patients alike.  

Office Manager

Irene Taaffe has been part of the team since February 2011.  Irene  moved from her role as Senior Receptionist to Office Manager in August 2023.  Her role is to manage the daily operations of the Medical Centre.  Irene works closely with the Practice Manager to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and effectively.

DPA/DWS location - A full time general practitioner is required to join this busy rural practice in the picturesque South West region of Western Australia, Manjimup.  Become a real part of this small close-knit community by working in this thriving General Practice.  If you have emergency experience there is the option to participate in the on call roster at Warren District Hospital under the CHI Agreement.   Accommodation support and a car available will be made available for the first six months of work to help you settle into the community.  Enquire now!

  • Remuneration: 65% of billings.

  • Accommodation: Accommodation available for 6 months.
